Phoenix Solar partners with green energy slovakia for solar park construction

Phoenix Solar AG, a Germany-based photovoltaic system integrator, has entered into agreement with green energy slovakia, s.r.o, a German-Slovakian investor partnership, for solar park construction in Slovakia.

The 2.2MW solar park will be Phoenix Solar AG's first project as general contractor in Slovakia. green energy slovakia, s.r.o will oversee the development of the project. Preliminary work has already begun with the Solar team beginning preparations for construction. More than 29,000 solar modules from First Solar and inverters from SMA will be used in the construction. The photovoltaic plant will be built at a distance of around 80 kilometres from Bratislava on two neighbouring plots of agricultural land and be connected to the grid before the end of 2010.
